All you, who join SteemFest2: enjoy it! :-)
Now as SteemFest2 is about to start I would like to wish all participants a lot of fun! Enjoy these unforgettable days as much as possible! :) May positive energy radiate from this event and have a huge impact on the sentiment of the Steemit community.

Apart from the benefits for all participants having a great time, I think the SteemFest is the best possible advertisement for our platform. I will be curiously watching out for articles in any kind of media about this event. It may cause another wave of new user registrations and also influence the Steem price in a positive way.
Unfortunately, I cannot take part.
Unfortunately, I know already since a long time that I (and my family, and the baby) won't be able to join this time. That's especially sad, because I am well aware that it may be the last SteemFest within Europe for quite some time. Now as I am reading more and more articles about the preparation of the SteemFest and also see the chat channels full of excited people talking about their travel arrangements, I feel a little bit wistful not to take part. I really would have liked to see some of these people whose articles and comments I am reading here since over a year already now (yes, how time flies: I am indeed a Steemian now since more than a year!).
And believe me: Lisbon is a very beautiful city which has many things to offer ...

Amongst many others for example I would have been very curious to meet in person one day, the one who made all this possible by his vision of a completely new kind of social media platform. That would have been a good opportunity to thank him for what he did. I know from direct conversations that Steemit changed lifes of many people who had been desperate before, but now found new friends within this amazing community or were able to earn some extra money to ease financial problems.
It is true that I also always comment in case I have any improvement suggestions or offer some criticism, but that doesn't change the fact that I consider Steemit/Steem to be a fantastic idea with a very promising future outlook! I really have learned to love this community over time.
