MYCELIC MORPHOID
One of the ugliest things in the game, he's a pretty cool little card, and I'm going to show you why in this Share Your Battle!
First, some info on Mycelic Morphoid:

Mycelic Morphoids are in a constant state of growth and development. As part of Queen Mycelia's brood, Morphoids work to spread the growing blight on Praetoria. Infected themselves by the poison, they take root near streams and rivers, contaminating it with the blight. In turn, the waters feed them, and a second Morphoid sprouts from the original. Together, the two travel as one until they split and continue the process.
Mycelic Morphoid is a cool anti-melee 1 Mana card that gets Thorns at Level 3.
Its final stats at Level 10 are 2 Melee, 3 Speed, 3 Health, and Thorns
She costs about $0.06 per BCX in her Normal Foil variant, and about $1.18 per BCX for a Gold Foil.
**LEVEL COSTS**
Level 3 costs about **$.84** for Normal Foil and **1.18** for GF this is where it gains **Thorns**
Max Level costs **$24 for Normal and about $44 for Gold** (based on 1 BCX prices)
*Keep in mind that higher BCX Cards come with discounts, this is the math for purchasing 1 BCX Cards, which you should NOT do if you're planning to level.*

Investing in Normal Foils: In my opinion, this card is NOT an investment worthy card at all, simply because it will likely remain cheap, and be easily accessible as a 1 mana for players to utilize.
Investing in Gold Foils: Unless this guy gets a competitive 1 Mana replacement, I think this is a solid anti-melee GF to buy for Earth: 1 Mana GFs are hugely valuable because you can fit them in any team you want with almost minimal effort. Thorns is also a nice addition in terms of damage and the extra body is a huge deal in Equalizer.

I don't need to divide this one up into sections: Mycelic Morphoid is a 1 mana, readily usable meat shield at all leagues, and as such, I give the card a solid 6/10. It's not a great card by itself, but it's an excellent filler to Earth that provides 1 extra body for Equalizer, etc.

With Mycelic, you can generally use any Summoner out of Earth, and as such, I am going to choose the Best and the Worst summoner for Mycelic Morphoid specifically. Keep in mind this does not take into account allies:
Mylor is the worst summoner in the game for Mycelic Morphoid, being entirely redundant. Don't waste the slot, Chaos Agent would be a better choice.
On the other hand, Drake of Arnak is, in my opinion, the best option for Mycelic Morphoid, allowing it to survive and punish
Dragons have some other, versatile options:
Selenia Sky is always an awesome choice for a low cost Ranged Attacker, as she immediately boosts his Ranged damage to 3 Range Damage at level 1, making him a very powerful card to play in low mana teams.
Drake of Arnak is also pretty solid, as he gives you +1 Armor, and this can be pretty useful if you're looking to utilize some Dragon cards, such as Zyvax, Dragonling Bowman, or other cards to compliment your Kulu, or maybe you wanna throw a Djinn Chwala up front, either way, while he's not as good as Kelya in stats, he brings new team members and compositions to your strategy.

Position 3-6
As a Ranged Attacker, this card is best played in the back positions and protected by 1 or 2 Melee Attackers and maybe a Magic attacker as well. He works best as Snipe bait in Position 3 for your stronger ranged attackers, or as a Sneak bait in Position 6.
This changes when you play him in Close Range

- Odds is where Mycelic can be used
- Equalizer gives Mycelic a ton of health and makes him more effective
- Armored also gives Mycelic more tankability, making him hard to get through and protecting your damage dealers a little bit longer.
- Divine Protection does the same as Armored, but works on Magic as well.

- The Even ruleset prevents Mycelic from being used
- Earthquake eats right through his health, so he doesn't work too well in Earthquake
- Poison also eats right through his health, so he doesn't have a lot of survivability in these matchups.

Enrage, 19 Mana, and Death, Water, Earth, and Dragon Splinters.
This looked real bad right off the bat. I whiffed on the Mycelic AND the Venari Knifer, but Regal Peryton straight up solos the entire enemy team. There's not much more to so, but, in this situation, my only chance of winning was because of that extra 1 mana meat shield up front. Regal likely would not have gotten the edge against them without a turn or 2 extra to deal some damage.
