Life of a Drinking Glass By James Insigne
As a child I always wondered how drinking glasses feel.
Which would they prefer; I do not know for real.
Do they prefer being empty; and kept on the cupboard?
Or would they prefer being very busy, going full load?
Every now and then I would see a glass or two breaking.
Makes me think if they feel hurt or terrified I was always wondering.
And so days went by; the years have come and go.
The answers to my questions I still don’t know.
Now I’m a full grown man, adulthood came and real life has entered.
I have forgotten about the little silly things I questioned and wondered.
But one thing is for sure now, and I can say it clearly.
I’d rather be busy, then broken, than sitting in a cupboard empty and rotten.
I hope you guys all enjoyed it.
A simple reminder that a life that is dull, is a life not worth living.
