The curd cheese makes the sour cream fresh and light. Its light sweetness and the garlic make it a perfect fit for all kinds of food. Special are the small onions that stand out in this creamy dip. They are finely cut and change the consistency without attracting too much attention. A divine sweet and sour mixture.
What combines well with Sour Cream?
A Sour Cream is a must-have for summer barbecues. It fits all kinds of meat. You can use it to dip bread or vegetables. Of course, you know the classic variation on a delicious baked potato. Much better than any heavy herb butter!
- 500g low-fat curd cheese
- 200g sour cream
- 2 tbsp parsley (chopped)
- 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
- -1/2 onion (very finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- -1 teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
- In terms of taste, there is hardly no dip that can keep up with sour cream. Sour Cream is an ideal grill dip and can be used universally with meat, vegetables etc.

Step 1
Mix the low-fat curd cheese, sour cream and vinegar in a bowl.
Step 2
Add salt, pepper and sugar and mix.
Step 3
Add the remaining ingredients: parsley, onions and garlic. Stir again.
Step 4
Let the sour cream soak for at least 60 minutes.
Creamy - add another cup of sour cream. It tastes even creamier and less like curd cheese.
Sugar free - replace the sugar with a suitable amount of sweetener. Honey also offers an interesting variety of flavours and sweetness.
Other herbs - you can replace the parsley with chives, coriander or dill.
