Two days ago, the Eddos Studio team went out with one of the girls who was going to have her photos taken. This time around, she wanted photos on a train line, recreating that whole vibe of a traveler with no fixed destination in mind.
Finding the location was a bit tricky, 'cause while there are plenty of spots like that in the city, they're actually pretty far from the studio. After some chat, we stumbled upon a place that's relatively closer than the other options we were considering. It's actually one of the spots where a series that got pretty popular in our country was filmed: "Calendario."
This kind of photography, in abandoned train lines, with the rusty tracks and overgrown vegetation, and the deserted wooden stations, offers a backdrop that screams decay, but also a serene and beautiful vibe.
We played around with the idea of the girl diving into a sort of urban explorer role, blending fashion and atmosphere, making you think about the stories behind the image. She's playing with gestures, with expressions, and elements of the surroundings.

Anteayer salimos el equipo de Eddos Estudio, con una de las chicas que se iba a realizar fotos. En esta ocasión ella quería hacer las tomas en una línea de tren y recrear toda esa situación de viajera sin rumbo fijo.
Encontrar la locación fue complicado, porque aunque sí existen muchos lugares así en la ciudad, la realidad es que están bien alejados del estudio. Conversando, dimos con un lugar que está relativamente más cerca que las otras variables que estuvimos revisando y es, de hecho, uno de los escenarios donde se grabó la serie ¨Calendario¨.
Este tipo de fotografía, en lineas de tren abandonadas, con las vías oxidadas y cubiertas de maleza, y las estaciones de madera desvencijadas, ofrecen un telón de fondo, que evoca decadencia, pero también un ambiente sereno y muy bello.
Jugamos con que la chica se sumergiera en una especie de papel de exploradora urbana, conjugando moda y una atmósfera que invita a pensar en las historias detrás de la imagen mientras juega con gestos, expresiones y elementos del entorno.
