My career has taking me a long way from my roots but I am happy to be somewhere, anywhere! My broadcasting career has taken me to many beautiful American cities. So here is a little bit of info about me. I graduated from Oklahoma City University, with degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Soon after graduating I was offered my first job as a radio host. Less than a year later I moved to Houston Texas and landed my second radio job. It was considered an accomplishment because I was the first female in the United States that was hired to host an afternoon drive position in a major market.
I have been fortunate enough to have a very rewarding career in broadcasting. In fact, I have been successful on 13 different radio stations. I have had the opportunity to meet Grammy winning recording artists, A-List actors, and national political figures. The industry has changed a lot over the years and due to consolidation the jobs have dried up. I am one of the few that still have a radio show.
People always ask me where is your favorite place to live. I have enjoyed living in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Charleston, SC., Detroit. I can not pick a favorite but I will admit I love warm weather.
