Hi, my name is Janice. I'm from Hong Kong, a local Hongkonger although people have mistaken me as a local in several places I've been to. A common thing that happens is that they speak to me in their local languages and sometimes even dialects. Like the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, and Nepal. I like to experience places like a local and since locals just come up to talk to me, I get introduced to many less toursity things and taste more local food.
