Drawing by Davy Jones | Pirates of the Caribbean (REDRAWING)
**People, that's the first video of the REDRAWING box here on the channel. In that painting I'm going to collect my old drawings and redesign them to motivate the staff that wants to draw realism too!
In that video the drawing was of the Davy Jones of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, which is a fictional character and antagonist of the movie series Pirates of the Caribbean, which appears in the second and third installments: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At the end of the world respectively. It is based on the ancient mythological pirate Davy Jones and is played by British actor Bill Nighy.
The name is an irony for the pirate myth of the Davy Jones Chest (Davy Jones' Locker), which in turn is a euphemism for the depths of the ocean, or the place where those who have died at sea end up. In this way, the legends consider Davy Jones a monster that lives under the sea and wrecked ships. The origins of the expression are very diverse**.
