Although 2017 is not yet finished, as it comes to a close I reflect and compare what a year it has been. It started out fully believing this will be the year I go all out and really see what kind of success I can achieve. That mind-set is really what made the difference.
I turned 21 this year and I've brought my stock portfolio to 33% increase, I've put nearly a fifth of my income into savings, I completely rebuilt my dirt-bike engine without any experience, I completely built my own desktop computer without any experience, I continued my weight loss journey and reached a total of -50lbs, I purchased my 21st car and sold it two weeks later for a 110% ROI, My wage at work has increased about 65% while also building a video production/ photography business on the side. I made a business partnership with my best friend and started a website based on my enthusiasm for outdoors ( www.VenturaOutfitters.com ) I've restored my faith in love and believe I've met the woman I'll marry, I traveled off the continent for the first time and also visited 4 new states multiple times. I learned how to ride a snowboard and experienced 5 different resorts and even some back- country at Lolo pass, Montana.
You may just be skimming through this thinking "wow this guy is really full of himself" or that my year hasn't been that impressive But what I'm really sharing this for is those of you that have BIG DREAMS but small ambition. It may seem impossible to achieve all of those big goals and dreams, but don't let that discourage you. I'm here to say the cliche reminder that anything is possible. It really comes down to passion. Not just finding something you enjoy doing but DISCOVERING PASSION FOR GROWTH AND SUCCESS!!!!
I'd like to keep up my motivation level by hearing some of your successes and goals. collaboration! is key!
