Good evening dear Steemians, Today I am sharing one of my favorite recipe it is Minced Meat and Peas (Matar Qeema) recipe.
Today weather was cold and fog was every where, so i decided to make something which will help to heat my body. This recipe is very good in taste especially for those who love to eat meat and food we make with minced meat are tastier than pieces of meat. What makes this dish special ? people are eating it for centuries, some people say it was cooked in the era of Mughals and they used to eat it on weekly basis.
Every person has it own style of cooking, it is made with different recipes, like cooks in restaurants make it in different way and people who cook it at home has different recipe. but both are very good in taste. People who has blood pressure and Diabetes, I recommend them to use Lamb meat instead of beef . We are going to make it with Minced beef meat. and one more thing it is not easy to digest so make sure you walk after eating it to digest it.
Ingredients
Beef(minced) 1kg, Peas(shelled) 500g, Onion sliced 2, garlic and ginger paste 2 tsp each, Tomatoes 2, Green chilies 4 to 5, Red chilies powder 1 tsp, Coriander powder 1tsp, coriander leaves, Cloves 6, Salt to taste, Garam masal to taste, Oil 4 tsp.
Heat oil in pan, cook the onions until they become pink, then add ginger and garlic paste, red chilli, salt , cloves and coriander powder and after cooking for 5 min add minced meat with tomatoes, cook it for 15 min on medium heat until minced meat is half cooked then stir in the peas and add water in it cook it until it is cooked. after it is cooked sprinkle the garam masala and green chilies, Garnish it with coriander leaves.
