Happy Easter, my friends!
After several weeks of relatively warm weather, mother nature decided to pull an April Fool's joke on us today. I've always appreciated the sight of snow or ice on newly emerging plants in the spring. It reminds me that while there will always be unexpected difficulties in life, we emerge stronger than before. Hopefully that's true for my tulips after today's sleet and freezing rain...
My chickies were not amused by today's weather, anyhow. But they did give us lots of eggs, which made for a nice Easter breakfast!
