Hello steemians, I just want to share what I saw this morning, a caterpillar. But in my entire life, this is the first time I saw this kind of caterpillar, its not the ordinary caterpillar like what we often saw in a bush. It looks like a robot and due to my curiousity, I made some research about this kind of caterpillar.
And this what I found.
This breed of caterpillar is called Oleander Hawk Moth Caterpillar, one of the most distributed species of sphingid in the world and they are known to different countries like Thailand, Africa, Southern Europe, Japan, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Philippines. This caterpillar is native to our country(Philippines) and we can find them more in bushes.
This one looks so cool, it has false eyes that makes it look like a robot or an alien, a robot that eating leaves. Lol. So whenever you saw this kind of caterpillar, dont be scared by them. On the contrary, it may looks beautiful but it can cause damage to plants since its their primary source of food.
Trully that God created everything with beauty. We are surrounded by fascinating beauty of nature made by Him for us.
