Sometimes drinking your breakfast is the right thing to do.
And other times, dishing out a smoothie into a bowl and loading it with all kinds of good-for-you toppings is the better thing to do.
Here's an easy smoothie bowl recipe using dragonfruit. I don't usually have dragonfruit on hand, but it came in my weekly harvest basket, and I was pleasantly inspired to put it to use!
For the base, I blended blackberries, frozen blueberries, dragonfruit, and a bit of milk. That's it!
I topped the bowl with coconut flakes, cacao nibs, more dragonfruit, goji berries, mixed nuts, and hemp hearts.
Next time you want to eat breakfast that you can feel really really good about, try a smoothie bowl and load it with superfood toppings!
