My entry into the Macro Photography challenge this week (5th April 2018) is 'Heading Left', an image of a rusty rivet head and cracked and peeling paint on an industrial container:
'Heading Left' by Jay Taylor
I just love all the tiny details in bit scratched, peeling paintwork and rusty metal. There is nothing that gives me greater pleasure than finding beauty in the mundane - as an abstract artist, I would have been delighted to have created something as wonderful as the effects of time and the weather have created virtually unnoticed on this little bit of 'industrial art'.
