Good morning, Steemit!
The snow has all but melted away today, but I can't resist sharing this already-nostalgic shot from just a few hours ago when it was still covering everything with its magic...
Whilst most of the UK is breathing a sigh of relief, I have to say that I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED the snow!
Snow Drift in the Peak District National Park - click to see high resolution
Our fields in the snow, complete with a beautiful drift built up against a gate: it was astounding to see the way the wind had scraped all but the barest smattering of snow from the fields and piled it all up high against any barrier like these dry stone walls and gate. It was truly like a magical kingdom out there - pristine, gorgeous, crisp, clear, and replete with fascinating sights and patterns. I'm grateful to have been witness to this amazing force of nature, especially in such a perfect environment in which to fully enjoy it!
I hope you've enjoyed this post. As an independent creative, and 'radical unschooling' Mama, your support, kind-ness, and appreciation of my always-original content are most welcome!
With love,
