Hello everyone π
It's never to late to learn something new! But before I begin, I just wanted to know how your day went? Because mine was pretty good.
Crafting is actually easyβat least when you take it seriously, I was always fascinated by my peers who could bead bags, bracelets, draw, and make flowers out of paper. However, I never felt jealous of their skills because I developed my own over time. It took a lot of hard work and concentration, but I eventually mastered my craft.
So if I woke up one morning and decided to draw the ocean, of course I could. But today I want to share my latest craft with you all, handmade of course.
Paper crafts or paper designs can be used as decorations and hung in the living room. They add a visually appealing touch, giving your guests something beautiful and eye-catching to admire.
Materials used!
Carbon paper (purple and yellow)
Scissors
Rule
Pencil
Glue
Hard paper
Step 1
First I began by cutting the petals for the flowers into the desired shape. Using both purple and yellow colored paper, i cut each petals to a size of 6 x 3 cm. I then used scissors to curve and trim the edges of the petals as needed.
After finishing the petals, take a separate piece of paper measuring 7 x 13 cm. Fold it into small sections, then trim the edges, glue the bottom and allow it dry. This would be used for the final touch.
Step 2
This step is quite simple. First, take a piece of sturdy paper and draw a square to ensure accuracy when tracing the lines while cutting. After cutting out the square, I painted it black using a black paint.
Step 3
Create stems similar to those of a flower, and carefully glue them onto the sturdy paper once the paint has dried. Since these will hold the petals, arrange them properly to ensure they look neat and visually appealing.
Step 4
Now, for the final stage, carefully glue the petals onto the stems, placing the purple petals on either side and the yellow petals in the center. For the finishing touch, attach a separate flower at the end of the stem to conceal any imperfections. And with that, you're done!
Thanks for stopping by.
