When I took my friend, Ali, on her first photo lesson with her new camera last night, I had no idea the Steemit color challenge existed.
We were at a local park for their beautiful gardens, and I was looking for an opportunity to give her an example of the rule of thirds. I looked to my right, and there was this beautiful surprise peeking out between the bushes of tiny, yellow flowers.
I snapped the photo, knowing it was a decent shot, and I was a little excited because I don't get a chance to shoot nature photography often these days.
I was perfectly content with it being a merely a great teaching moment, but to my surprise, I found a home for it on Steemit!
The Wednesday popped up on my feed this morning, and today's (and every Wednesday's) color is yellow!
My submission was captured on my Canon EOS 6D with a Sigma EF 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.
