Many of us are short on time these days and sometimes find it hard to put together a post for our favorite contest on Steemit, the IFC! It's not about how much time you have but how efficient you can be.
When I first saw the post for the 3rd round I thought, damn, this is right up my alley. The second thought that went through my head is "holy shit, I don't have a lot of time to write a song right now."
Sometimes my friends, you've just got to throw some shit at the wall and see if it sticks.
The amount of time and effort, not to mention heart and soul that 
It's not an entire song but I feel it captures the essence of season 2 fairly well. Who knows, maybe it could become a group collaboration.
I present to you my entry into the IFC Season 2 Round 3 contest.
The lyrics (first verse and a chorus anyway).
We race through the heavens, no trace of the aliens
That shook our world to the core.
We fought back the tide and escaped genocide,
To the Grays we took the war.
We are the children of information.
We live our lives good and free.
Raise our cups in celebration.
