Good day everyone, let me share to you a pictures I captured while I am cooking for our breakfast. "Adobong Gulay"
Early this morning, my mother told me to cook for our breakfast and she told me that their are some vegetables there in the kitchen. After that I gathered all the vegetables in the basket and found this: asparagus beans, chayote, 1 pc. of okra and 1/2 sliced carrot.
After that, I washed them all in clean water and peeled chayote and the carrot. After cleaning them I started to sliced all the vegetables in vertical/horizontal cuts. Then start cooking.
So here's the ingredients and step by step procedure while I'm cooking.
Ingredients:
- Asparagus beans
- Chayote
- Carrot
- Okra
- Pork liver
- Onion
- Garlic
- Tomato
- Cooking oil
- Soy sauce
- Small amount of salt
- Seasonings
- 1 glass of water
PROCEDURE:
In a pan, put the cooking oil and suit the garlic, onion, tomato and then mix it until the aroma of the ingredients comes out.
Add the pork liver in the pan and also mix it until the pork liver is cooked.
Once the pork liver is cooked well, add all the sliced vegetables you prepared. Then mix them up.
Add the soy sauce and the seasoning. You can add small amount of salt if you like to meet your own taste.
Add 1 glass of water and cover it, lower the fire to make sure that the vegetables will not limp itself. Wait until the vegetables become tender. I recommend to cook it slightly (half cooked).
Once the vegetables are tender it is now ready for serving ππ.
