Have you ever wondered what happens to the salt and pepper shakers when you leave a restaurant?
Do they just sit there on the table waiting for someone to come and talk to them?
I'll tell you what happens. First they spend the night together and then early in the morning they get married.
It's a quick ceremony and not at all what you think.
After a long night together he's spent.
One of the very first things we do when we open the restaurant in the morning is remove all of the salt and pepper shakers from the tables.
We then marry them by adding any remaining salt or pepper from one shaker into another essentially combining them.
After that we take the completely empty shakers and refill them from a plastic jugs that we keep full of salt and pepper.
So what happens after the salt and pepper shakers spend the night alone together?
They get married!!!!
