There are a few things that I'm in the market for right now.
New wallet.
New pillow.
Sheets and mattress pad.
New keyboard.

One thing that I need more than anything else though is a new office chair.
My old office chair was purchased at Best Buy many years ago. It lasted probably about eight years before breaking apart. It was only maybe $80 and made from bonded leather. I probably sat in that chair for about ten hours a day every single day for eight years.
As you might imagine, the chairs from Best Buy are no longer $80. The reviews on most of the chairs nowadays talk about them lasting for about a year also before they break apart. That's not even close to eight years.
So I figured on the way home from work today I would stop in my local Staples and grab a chair. They're having a sale right now and most of the chairs are about 50% off.
"I'll just grab one that costs $100 or less and run right out the door. The whole thing shouldn't take more than about ten minutes." I thought.
I was wrong.
Staples has about 50 chairs on display. You can sit in each one of them to get a feel for which one you like best.
Let me save you the trouble of wondering. They all suck. Well, all except for a few of them.
I had it narrowed down to five chairs. Only one of those chairs was lower than $100. You might be thinking that's the chair that I should have chosen.
The problem was that the back was pushed a little too far forward and I couldn't figure out how to change the positioning of it.
I came home to research it and discovered that Amazon.com has a whole plethora of chairs available as well. Most people seem to like their high back chair which is $110. Of course, I might not like it given that I haven't even gotten a chance to try it out yet. That's one thing I hate about Amazon.com
Buying sight unseen.
Staple's sale will probably be over tomorrow so the 50% deal will be gone. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and pull the trigger on the $100 chair that was slightly uncomfortable because it leans forward too much on my back. Probably not. The non sale price is $179.99. Big difference.
So you can see that it's a conundrum. Of course this happens with pretty much every product on the market. Sometimes I wish there were only three chairs to choose from. Three wallets. Three pizzas.
Sometimes when there are just so many choices out there it's hard to choose anything at all.
