How I Won a 1oz Silver Round on STEEM

STEEM truly is an amazing place. It gives countless opportunities in all different shapes and forms. One of the greatest aspects of STEEM is the ability to hold free contests with real prizes. Hive account@o07 is one of the best contest holders on the STEEM blockchain. He holds various sports and entertainment contests on a frequent basis. Participants have the chance to win SBD/STEEM and even more tangible prizes such as silver bullion!

Recently I participated in one of Hive account@o07's contests and took home the grand prize! I won a 2018 Australian Kangaroo 1oz Silver Round. I was thrilled to open this when I got home from work today. I quickly added it to the collection.

The silver arrived quickly from Australia. I love opening mail and for some reason it's even better when it comes from another country.

This is the first time I ever won a physical item on a free-entry STEEM contest and it sure feels great. Especially when it's a fine, shiny piece of metal like this...
