The Twisty Pine

This is a tree I saw on my hike to Rocky Mountain National Park this past weekend. It was very twisted and lived right alongside the edge of Dream Lake. It was very odd but the little chipmunks loved it. I saw many of them scrambling on the roots of this tree. I can only imagine how long it has been there!
