Spring is the season that inspires many people to travel and explore the world. One of the most attractive spring destinations, especially among my colleagues, is Paris. I have several colleagues who love this city a lot and like to visit it whenever they can.
A few days ago, one of my colleagues visited this amazing city and came back with a lot of good impressions and beautiful photos. Looking at the photos again and again I become very inspired to visit Paris and enjoy the views around.
When someone says Paris, my first thought is romance. And of course the Eiffel Tower. Looking at it, from various angles and perspectives, it amazes you every time as if you were seeing it for the first time.
Another symbol of Paris, the Arc de Triomphe, built at the beginning of the 19th century, also impresses me a lot. The construction was initiated by the famous military leader Napoleon Bonaparte, who wanted to raise a memorial to his glory in this way, but unfortunately he did not live to see it.
And as Napoleon would say, a picture speaks louder than words. Every view of Paris speaks louder than words. Magnificent architecture, artistic spirit, freedom, history, and love. In Paris, you feel good, inspired to fall in love if you haven't, and if you have, to hug your loved one and tell them you love them just like it's written on the Wall of Love in over 300 languages.
Life seems relaxed. Everyone goes their own way and do what they want and feel. 😊
It is crowded, and at the same time seems harmonious.
Paris is one of those cities that remind you that life is beautiful because you can find something beautiful and inspiring in everything around you.
One of the most visited and charming parts of the city, Montmartre is best visited early in the morning to avoid the crowds because everyone wants to see the imposing white Sacré-Cœur Basilica and enjoy the breathtaking view of the whole city from it.
Many people come here to lock their love. There is a lot of love in Paris, but all that locked-in love threatens to be heavy due to the burden on the fences. 😊
Paris is one of those cities that can be said to be open-air museums. There are a lot of historical monuments and sculptures everywhere you turn.
Usually, tourist tours last for several days and that is not enough time to get to know all the sights. Each of them has its own story that is worth hearing. But if there is not enough time, we can at least admire the masterpieces of architecture that make the city so unique and impressive.
Castles always impress me the most, so I was delighted by Vincennes Castle, located in the town of the same name, about 7 km from Paris.
The construction of the castle began in the 14th century and was completed in the 17th century. It would be an amazing experience for me if I could take a peek inside.
It would also be amazing to see the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. I still remember the painful moment when the cathedral was on fire. It was difficult to watch something of exceptional historical value being damaged.
I love the lively spirit in the streets and taverns and cafes full of people enjoying the sun and relaxing moments.
Everything looks so classy and stylish on one side and romantic and casual on the other.
The bridges on the beautiful river Seine are another unique feature of Paris. I would like to cross every bridge, although it would take me a lot of time because there are a lot of them.
Paris is great for romantic walks in parks with beautiful tree-lined streets that are the inspiration for many artistic paintings.
In addition to being the city of love and light, Paris is also the city of fashion.
If I found myself there, I would certainly take the opportunity to go to the Lafayette Gallery, a grand department store in Paris. I am a fan of shopping and fashion, but I would like to go to this department store the most because of its stunning architecture. It looks really amazing.
I love colorful cities, and Paris is one of them. Colors make us feel alive and it's nice to enjoy their diversity at every step.
But unfortunately, there is also one colorful image that I did not like in Paris, and that is the image of a lot of garbage on the streets.
I hope this is only a temporary situation for some good reason because it's a shame that such pictures spoil the beauty of this amazing fairytale city.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
Greetings!
