As believers each person s accountable to Christ. None of us lives to himself alone, and we should not live to please ourselves but the Lord. Even know n death none of us dies to himself.
Our relationship to God is very important and Paul emphasized this truth when he said that, we are not our own bosses to live or die as we ourselves might choose, but either in living or dying, we should follow Christ. We have no right to do whatever we want with ourselves as we belong to God. Because Christ is in us we should no longer live to please ourselves, we are to spend our lives pleasing Christ.
We should try to honour God in everything we do and allow Christ's love to control our lives.
We should always base our standards, opinion and moral judgement on the word of God, and not our personal likes and dislikes, or circumstances around us.
