Hello friends. Few times I visit places that impress me for their architectural beauty and provoke in me the desire to take some pictures. We know I'm not a photographer, but the symmetry, elegance and combination of colors will always be something that catches my attention and is worthy of wanting to capture moments that remain in my photo album and of course in my Hive blog.
This engineering marvel is the National Theater in Caracas, Venezuela. It has nothing to envy to international concert halls because it was obviously made with genius and love for architecture. In photographs you can not tell, but the acoustics of the place is perfect, there is no corner where the sound does not travel.
I came to listen to an opera here once before, but this time I had the pleasure of singing with my choral group. This type of event is without amplification, so I give veracity of the sound trip in the hall, because I heard it from every point of the theater.
For the general public it is quite an experience to visit their facilities. Every aspect is very well taken care of, from its floors, stairs, mirrors and windows, there is no way not to feel good here.
On the upper floors there are beautiful red carpets that adorn the passage of the people who pass by. I really like that it is not a typical theater with a balcony at the end, but has all these floors of boxes that reminds us of prestigious halls such as Alla Scala in Milan.
One of its most striking features are its many elegant chandeliers, which can be seen throughout the corridors, but undoubtedly the queen of them all is the central chandelier in the middle of the concert hall. It is a real beauty even if you see it from below or from above on the balconies.
My girl and I took a lot of pictures in this place with our dress uniforms. I've shared them on the blog before, to complement my words I want to leave you at least one picture of the ones we took with the front camera and on timer. It is so much fun to set the time and run out and try to look good in the picture 😅
I can only recommend to those who are in Venezuela and to those who have the opportunity to visit my country that they should not hesitate to attend any of the cultural events that are presented at the National Theater. You will not regret the experience of the place. The façade is being restored, as well as many of the works of art on display, so I owe a next installment for when everything is ready...
