Hello friends, today is #tbt Thursday. This time I'm going for a fairly recent one, and it's about the concert where I sang this weekend, an event that has really left traces in my life. This fun video that I invite you to play above is an excerpt of the song Nyon Nyon, a choral arrangement based on sound effects and also the Maestro added body movements, so it was really fun for both us singers and the audience. We are not used to do movements and music like this, so it was a very special moment.
¡Hola amigos, hoy es Jueves de #tbt!. En esta ocasión me voy por uno bastante reciente, y se trata del concierto donde canté este fin de semana, un evento que realmente ha dejado huellas en mi vida. Este divertido video que los invito a reproducir aquí arriba es un extracto de la canción Nyon Nyon, un arreglo coral basado en efectos sonoros y que además el Maestro agregó movimientos corporales, así que fue muy divertido tanto para nosotros los cantantes como para el público. No estamos acostumbrados a hacer movimientos y música como esta, así que fue un momento muy especial.
Although I am still very happy and satisfied with the weekend, I am still very tired. That moment was a bit hard on my knees, as the concert lasted almost two hours. It is a long time standing and the position of holding the scores is not comfortable at all, I still can't believe that they left this composition for the end, when the body is almost not enough 🤣 but the truth is that the music had the power to flow and be pleasing to all present in the concert hall.
Aunque esté aún muy feliz y satisfecho del fin de semana, igual tengo mucho cansancio. Ese momento fue un poco fuerte para mis rodillas, ya que el concierto duró casi dos horas. Es mucho tiempo de pie y la posición de sostener las partituras no es nada cómoda, aún no puedo creer que hayan dejado esta composición para el final, cuando ya el cuerpo casi no da para más 🤣 pero la verdad es que la música tenía el poder de fluir y ser grata para todos los presentes en la sala de conciertos.
I also can't overlook the presence of my mom and brother during the whole weekend, something that happens very, very rarely here in the capital. They made this moment much more special, and beyond the concert one of the things I enjoyed the most was that they were present in those long gatherings after each performance, as we went to lunch with our closest friends and knew all the details of the concert, the appreciation of everyone from any corner of the stage and the appreciation of my family from the audience, so it is proven that it was one of the best we had this year 😅
Tampoco puedo pasar por alto la presencia de mi mamá y mi hermano durante todo el fin de semana, algo que pasa muy, muy poco aquí en la capital. Ellos hicieron mucho más especial este momento, y más allá del concierto una de las cosas que más disfruté fue que estuvieran presente en esas largas tertulias después de cada performance, ya que fuimos a almorzar con nuestros amigos más cercanos y supimos todos los detalles del concierto, la apreciación de todos desde cualquier rincón del escenario y la apreciación de mi familia desde el público, así que está comprobado que fue uno de los mejores que hemos tenido este año 😅
It makes me very happy to see in the same picture my wife, my family, my friends and I think that we have all been united through music, so even if it is not visible, I also perceived my dad's presence that weekend. I have learned to value every moment and things don't always repeat themselves in such a perfect way, so I can only be grateful for this experience and treasure it with my soul, while I continue to build priceless moments with my good disposition towards life. Me hace muy feliz ver en la misma fotografía a mi esposa, mi familia, mis amigos y pienso que todos hemos sido unidos a través de la música, así que aunque no sea visible, la presencia de mi papá también la percibí ese fin de semana. He aprendido a valorar cada momento y no siempre las cosas se repiten de una manera tan perfecta, así que solo me queda agradecer esta vivencia y atesorarla con el alma, mientras sigo construyendo momentos invaluables con mi buena disposición ante la vida.
