I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2023 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. If I am behind in any of my goals, it will allow me to make changes so I do accomplish them. As of right now, I am doing quite well and there are no issues with me being on track toward my own goals.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was about the same the previous week.
HP
I got about more than last week with 62 HP earned throughout the week. I did around the same number of posts as last time so I would just say that my luck wasn't as good this time around. I am checking this through the difference between the two end points on the graph on Hivestats. My curation return is lower than last week and I don't really know the reason for it. Overall, while it isn't the best week, I still think I did decent. My goal for curation is to just make sure that my voting power is never full. I was able to use up most of my voting power without any issues.
HBD
I have added 22 HBD to my savings to get closer to my goal. I also collected 28 HBD from my interest to help me push towards my goal. My author rewards weren't as good but I am also over 1.8k HBD in savings now. With the 60 HBD = 1 HBD per month rule, I will get 30 HBD a month through the 20% APR. This means that I can expect around 240 HBD just from interest and that should be enough for my HBD goal. I will push it a bit closer because I like the 20% APR but I will be starting to move some of that over to LEO or Hive Power soon enough.
LEO Power
I earned around 88 LEO last week and that is a great result. With this and the 100 LEO I bought last week, I should be able to get the minimum I need for next month and I should be able to collect that amount by the time the next LPUD rolls around. However, I still think that earning as much as I can will benefit me as it will make the future months even easier.
Conclusion
It's been a week since my last update and I am liking my progress so far. My HBD goal is still the furthest behind and I am still on track for my HP goal. When I do power up my LEO for LPUD, I will definitely be on track for LEO Power as well. With everything going on, I am still on track and my HBD goal being ahead gives me more room to top off LEO Power or HP when I need to. I really should make posts more often though to push my HP goal a little further ahead.
