On my bike ride home this evening, I was able to capture shots of some goats that appear to have escaped from a farm, as well as group of cows that were grazing in a small pasture. All shots were taken using a Canon 80D camera.
The first set of shots are of two goats that were walking along a hidden trail near a heavily wooded area. The reason I believe they escaped, is because in Florida, the likelihood of finding wild goats is slim to none. They were quite skittish, running away any time I came anywhere near close to them. However, I was still able to snap shots before they were out of sight.
(I really liked this shot because the white goat is trailing the black goat perfectly, making it look like the white one has a black outline)
The next set of shots are of cows that were grazing on grass that has begun to sprout fully after the few strong days of rain we had.
Cattle here in the farm land of Florida are a common site, but some of these had some pretty good size to them. By summer, some of these guys should be even bigger, for the summer rains will bring lush grass and lots of vegetation to eat. Truly beautiful animals.
What a lovely day to spend outside and breathe the same air as all these beautiful animals.
One love,
