One game that comes to my mind is called "Karateka," which was originally released in the 1980s but has since been updated and re-released for modern platforms.
In Karateka, the player controls a lone warrior who must fight his way through a series of opponents to rescue his love interest from an evil warlord. The gameplay is intense and fast-paced, with the player having to use a combination of punches, kicks, and blocks to defeat their opponents.
But what makes me love Karateka particularly interesting is its unique control system. Rather than simply pressing buttons to perform moves, the player must time their button inputs according to on-screen prompts that represent the movements of their character. It's a bit like playing a rhythm game, but with martial arts moves instead of music notes.
