Thinking about this. Athletes in general aren't famous for their deep intellect. They probably thought this was a good idea. Wanting to bring attention to all the unnecessary violence our government is implicated in. They talked about it among themselves and thought,"Yeah. We will definitely get everyone's attention." And they did get everyone's attention. But it wasn't the right way to do it. They need to make a formal, public and genuine apology. That they just didn't go about doing it the right way. Everyone will understand, like I say they ain't usually the brightest people in the world. Everyone will forgive and forget. They took the wrong road "paved with good intentions..." My take on it.
