Today, as often happens with me, my photographs have moved away from purely street scenes and also from the nature and countryside of my surroundings. Today, on the contrary, I express through my photos my particular perception of the abstraction that occurs around me. I can confidently say that these photos are all about "myself" observing what others might not see, thinking about colors that can be used for composition, intuiting shapes, shadows, and light, imagining the visual result after a few adjustments and changes. So, I can also say that it's me improvising with what I have and understand until I transform it. That's more or less the concept and meaning of these photos, which are somewhat of a hybrid of reality, imagination, and experimentation...

Hoy, como suele ocurrir de vez en cuando conmigo; mis fotografías se alejan de la temática puramente callejera y también de la naturaleza y el campo de mis alrededores. Hoy, por el contrario; expreso a través de mis fotos mi percepción particular de la abstracción que ocurre a mi alrededor. Puedo decir con confianza que, en estas fotos todo se trata de "mi mismo" observando lo que otros quizás no observan, pensando en colores que sirven para componer, intuyendo formas, sombras y luces, imaginando el resultado visual después de unos cuantos ajustes y cambios. Entonces, también puedo decir que soy yo improvisando con lo que tengo y entiendo hasta transformarlo. Así más o menos es el concepto y el sentido de estas fotos, las cuales son un tanto hibridas ente realidad, imaginación y experimentación...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
