I started taking photos as a form of therapy to cope with work stress. It seems like so long ago that I can't quite remember if it was 2006, 2007, or some other year, but the exact date doesn't really matter anymore. I do remember that I began by taking photos of landscapes, natural spaces, and some abstract subjects. Later, I became fond of macro photography of flowers and then insects; those were years of great passion, I admit. But when I truly began to "become one with my photos" was when I took my first street photographs, and even more so when I started processing them in black and white. I think that was in 2012, but I can't remember exactly today, as I seem to be having one of those days where a kind of "comfortable and pleasant imprecision takes hold of my mind" 😂... But again, I don't think dates matter much in all of this, because the truth is that today I'm here in this "irreverent act" of taking photos almost obsessively in the streets of my town. And these photos in this post are all from this morning, which perhaps gives you an idea of ​​how used to doing this I am...

Comencé a hacer fotos como parte de una terapia para lidiar con el stress laboral. De eso, me parece que fue hace ya tanto tiempo que no recuerdo bien si fue en 2006, 2007 u otro año, pero en realidad ya no importa demasiado la fecha en la que todo esto comenzó. Sí recuerdo que comencé haciendo fotos de paisajes, de espacios naturales y algunas cosas abstractas. Después me aficioné a hacer macros de flores y luego de insectos, esos fueron años de mucha pasión, lo reconozco. Pero cuando en realidad comencé a "volverme uno con mis fotos" fue cuando hice mis primeras de calles, y más aún cuando comencé a trabajar en ellas procesándolas en blanco y negro. Creo que eso fue en 2012, pero hoy no recuerdo con exactitud, pues parece que estoy en esos días míos en los que una especie de "cómoda y agradable inexactitud se aloja en mi cabeza" 😂... Pero de nuevo, creo que no importan mucho las fechas en todo esto, pues lo cierto es que hoy estoy aquí en este "acto irreverente" que es hacer fotos casi con obsesión en las calles de mi pueblo. Y estas fotos en este post son de hoy en la mañana todas, y eso quizás les da una idea de cuan acostumbrado estoy a hacer esto...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
