It's funny, but for some time now I've been taking photos and at the same time I've been having a lot of different ideas in my head. Among these ideas is to take some of my photographs with a thought to a future transformation with difital tools on them... That is to say: "I take most of my photos with a view to transforming them"...

This series of seven images from digitally altered photos is based on photos I took on the country roads around my village during one morning, a few hours after sunrise... This is the reason for the name I gave to this work: "Morning Visions"...

My techniques are as diverse as my photos and the visual results of these transformations. I use everything I have at my disposal with my traditional editing tools... Distortion tools, leveling, layering, adding shapes, spirals, blurring, zooming... The list is endless and every job I do is literally anarchic and chaotic...

CREATIVE PROCESS
I use basic things for this... Photoshop, PhotoScape and Paint installed on one of my old PCs are enough for me to spend hours having fun and exercising my creativity and ability to express myself... That's the most charming thing about it...
I jump from one software to another without a specific script or method... These old digital tools are my brush box and my painter's palette... So there's not much to say about how I do this... I do it for fun and to satisfy the natural need I think we all have to create things we like...
This creative process illustrates the steps I did for the "I" image and serves the purpose of showing in a more or less general way how I do this. But as I said previously, everything changes with each image and there is nothing written in definitive for this... That's the lovely thing about doing this, I think!...
And what do you think about doing this in a monochrome version?
This is just a test... But I think it looks good... This is the V image desaturated and passed through an attenuation layer with 6% yellow... I'm planning on making a whole series based on monochrome images...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... The pictures are then exported to JPG format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!
