~ My Weekend Morning Ritual ~ Making my Rounds ~ 1st Ulog

First thing is first, coffee. Get that coffee brewin and stat!! Hive account@lil-splatts is normally up shortly after I get up and he always has 10 million things to say when he gets up. I am by no means totally awake and miss about 3/4 of what he is saying. Yet I listen the best I can. He typically gets the Tv goin first thing and catches some sort of weird cartoon. I grab my coffee and head out to the garden

Open up the door to the Duck house and release the crazy ducks. They come out making all kinds of squeaks and quacks. First I fill up their sled/drinking water.

Sometimes they don’t want to swim in their pool, they just want to cool their feet off from all the high speed running they do.
While they are doin whatever weird crap they do, I go and clean out and fill up their pool. I drain it at night, then in the morning I just have to flush the mud out of the bottom and fill it up

Nice clean crystal clear water which will stay that way for about 45 minutes. Once they get in and start diggin little holes in the mud next to the pool. Weirdos

While I have the hose out, it’s time to get everything watered really good. The temperature is suppose to be climbing this week to around 100 F and staying there for some time. Looks like we are goin to be spending a lot of time in the swimming pool 👍🏻👍🏻
First I water the Strawberry and Cucumber box. I need to train the cucumbers better, they are starting to grow over the top of the strawberries

The strawberries are on the left and cucumbers on the right. Some of the cucumbers are growing up the fence but others are quite cooperating.

Next, is the Carrot and Beet Box. There is a whole section of Carrots and Beets that didn’t even sprout.

Maybe they did and those pesky little birds ate them up. A few of the Beets are fighting their way back and growing their greens again. We do have some nice looking carrot greens goin.

Now this wild beast, the Blackberry bush. These berries are so huge and there are so many it almost breaks the vines off

I absolutely flood this guy and shower over the whole bush. These ducks creep in underneath while I am giving it a nice shower.

Probably need to have the kids come out and pick some of these Blackberries, quite of few of them are looking pretty plump and juicy. 🤤🤤

Now, finish up my coffee and pour another.
