What is a long day in your mind?
Being busy all day?

To me it’s the slow days that make a day seem never ending. I would much rather be busy as all get out and work for 16hrs, than have a slow 8 hour day.
But that that’s just me

Now I’m home kickin back and looking at the jobs I need to finish up around here and the projects I need to start.
I start to think that I look for stuff to do and make myself busy all the time??? Ya there is probably some truth to that. Ha ha ha
What can I say, I enjoy working.

Install trim, roof and paint the awning for my mower/scrap wood storage
I built this last fall and the weather hit fast and wasn’t able to get the shingles out it. My father-in-law, a roofer from way back, he said it’s better to put shingles on when’s the weather warms up. This allows the tar on the tabs to stick properly. The shingles will match the roof of the shed so it looks nice 😉. The posts and beam are cross arms from power poles. So they were free, from a wreck out job at work.

Oil change, sharpen blade and clean the mower up. My grass Ian starting to take off and get long already. We haven’t had many warm days at all.
I’m hoping I can get my son driving this soon for a summer lawn mowing job around the neighborhood. I would do the edging and he could mow. I bet we could knock out some yards on a Saturday. Many of the yards are pretty small and most people are a little older and could probably appreciate someone mowing their lawn for cheap.
Then I need to finish filling up this planter box and load it with beet and carrot seeds. We just got to the point where it isn’t freezing at night anymore.
Boy am I happy to see sunny days ahead.
There is another planter just like this one and we have yet to decide what we are goin to plant in it.

It’s getting painted ASAP!!
Plus the back side gets beaten up pretty bad by the weather, she isn’t looking too good. Need to scrape off all the flakey paint then repaint.
This area needs cleaned out for the new additions we are getting this weekend.

It’s about 3/4 done, I just need to do a roof and finish siding it and have the kids paint it to match the shed.
