I love being part of these moments (My entry for the "monomad" challenge) [Esp/Eng].

Qué genial que nos volvamos a encontrar en este maravilloso ¨Black-And-White¨:  Para participar de esta iniciativa # ¨monomad¨:  que me encanta. Me han enseñado a ser una persona agradecida, una cualidad que a lo largo de mi vida me abrió muchas puertas. Otra cosa que aprendí es a compartir las cosas buenas; por eso déjame decirte, si eres una persona que ama la fotografía y estás dispuesto a hacer tomas diferentes, tienes que participar de este genial ¨concurso¨:  Recuerda asesorarte de las reglas de la comunidad antes de participar del desafío.

How great that we're meeting again in this wonderful "Black-And-White": initiative to participate in #"monomad": which I love. They've taught me to be a grateful person, a quality that has opened many doors for me throughout my life. Soy de Corrientes, donde el empleo informal es el común denominador; hay muchas actividades donde los empleados no tienen la más mínima cobertura; una de esas actividades es la pesca comercial. Este es uno de los rubros más antiguos de nuestra ciudad; muchas familias correntinas dependen de los ingresos de esta ocupación. Es común estar sentado observando el paisaje de la ribera y ver a los trabajadores ir de un lado a otro con sus embarcaciones

I'm from Corrientes, where informal employment is the norm; There are many activities where employees have absolutely no coverage; one of those activities is commercial fishing. This is one of the oldest industries in our city; many families in Corrientes depend on the income from this occupation. It's common to sit and observe the riverside scenery and see the workers going back and forth in their boats.

Vivo en una ciudad encantadora, donde los espacios recreativos están para ser disfrutados en compañía de nuestros seres queridos; las plazas, desde que tengo memoria, han sido esos espacios escogidos por las personas como un lugar de encuentro. Mi ciudad tiene tantos espacios verdes en el microcentro que algunas personas la llaman con el seudónimo de "Corrientes, Ciudad de las Plazas"

I live in a charming city, where recreational spaces are meant to be enjoyed in the company of our loved ones; the plazas, for as long as I can remember, have been those spaces chosen by people as a meeting place. My city has so many green spaces in the city center that some people call it "Corrientes, City of Plazas"

Amo el centro de mi ciudad, me gusta caminar por las calles con mi cámara preparada para disparar; siempre estoy atento para descubrir objetivos que nos narren una historia, momentos de tranquilidad sentados disfrutando de la amistad, compartiendo algo tan bello como es la compañía de alguien querido. Las plazas para esto son ideales, dado que la presencia natural transmite mucha paz.

I love the center of my city. I like to walk through the streets with my camera ready to shoot; I'm always on the lookout for subjects that tell a story, moments of tranquility sitting and enjoying friendship, sharing something as beautiful as the company of someone dear. Plazas are ideal for this, since the natural surroundings transmit so much peace.

Aunque no son solo las plazas los espacios que las personas prefieren a la hora de estar con un amigo, las playas correntinas son de esos lugares donde uno puede estar cerca de la naturaleza y percibir la energía que emana de las aguas del río, ese sonido gratificante que hacen las olas del agua al quebrar junto a las piedras. Siempre que soy testigo de estos gratos momentos, debo agradecer contar con nuestra ¨Nikon¨-¨Coolpix¨-¨B500¨ :  dado que gracias a él puedo inmortalizar estos momentos de paz y felicidad. Cuando amas lo que haces, estos siempre son momentos los que cuentan.

Although plazas aren't the only places people prefer when spending time with a friend, the beaches of Corrientes are among those places where you can be close to nature and feel the energy emanating from the river's waters, that gratifying sound the waves make as they break against the rocks. Whenever I witness these wonderful moments, I'm grateful to have our Nikon-Coolpix-B500 because thanks to it I can capture these moments of peace and happiness. When you love what you do, these are always the moments that matter.
