When it comes to a passion, you can't help yourself (My entry for the "monomad" challenge) [Esp/Eng].

Hola a todos los apasionados de esta genial ¨Black-And-White¨:  Esta es una de esas iniciativas que me encanta participar, hacer imágenes #¨monomad¨:  es realmente muy interesante, son de esos estilos fotográficos que a muchas personas les atraen, y si eres una de ellas, no te puedes perder de participar de este maravilloso ¨concurso¨: 

Hello to all the fans of this awesome "Black-And-White": This is one of those initiatives I love to participate in. Creating #"monomad": images is really interesting. They're one of those photographic styles that appeal to many people, and if you're one of them, you can't miss out on participating in this wonderful ¨concurso¨: 

La "pesca" es una actividad que puede ser recreativa, deportiva o comercial; es por eso que muchas personas la practican. Esta es una de esas actividades que son amadas y criticadas a la vez. Las personas que no sienten interés en esta disciplina no pueden entender cómo otra persona puede pasar horas sentada esperando a que un pez se decida a tirar de la carnada; mientras que aquellos que sienten pasión por ellas no la pueden evitar.

Fishing is an activity that can be recreational, sporting, or commercial; that's why many people practice it. This is one of those activities that are both loved and criticized. People who aren't interested in this activity can't understand how someone else can spend hours sitting and waiting for a fish to bite; while those who are passionate about it can't help but do so.

Desde que tengo memoria estuve vinculado con la pesca; este era un pasatiempo que adoraba mi abuela, y siempre que se presentaba la oportunidad para visitar la ribera para pescar, lo hacíamos. Tengo vivos recuerdos de las tantas veces que visité el río acompañado de mi abuela; mi trabajo era buscar carnadas mientras ella preparaba los anzuelos para hacer los lances.

For as long as I can remember, I've been involved with fishing; it was a pastime my grandmother adored, and whenever the opportunity arose to visit the riverbank to fish, we did. I have vivid memories of the many times I visited the river with my grandmother; My job was to look for bait while she prepared the hooks for casting.

Recuerdo buscar "lombriz" en el fondo de casa para llevar a la costa, y con ellos encarnaba los "anzuelos" para tratar de atrapar "peces" pequeños para que mi abuela pudiera pescar. Las veces que visitábamos la costa nos acompañaba una persona mayor. Don Tabaré era otro apasionado de esta disciplina, que no podía decir que no las veces que lo invitábamos a pescar.

I remember looking for earthworms in the backyard to take to the coast, and using them to bait the fishing hooks to try and catch small fish so my grandmother could fish. Whenever we visited the coast, an older person accompanied us. Don Tabaré was another passionate angler who never said no when we invited him to go fishing.

Por esta experiencia vivida puedo entender a estas personas sentadas por horas esperando atrapar a un pez; aunque los tiempos han cambiado, ahora las personas, mientras esperan, pueden consultar sus teléfonos, ver videos, incluso descargar una app de pesca con información crucial del pique. Qué genial haber llevado nuestra ¨Nikon¨-¨Coolpix¨-¨B500¨ :  en esta caminata por el microcentro y poder fotografiar a estos apasionados de esta disciplina.

Because of this experience, I can understand these people sitting for hours waiting to catch a fish; Although times have changed, now people, while they wait, can check their phones, watch videos, even download a fishing app with crucial bite information. How great to have brought our ¨Nikon¨-¨Coolpix¨-¨B500¨ :  on this walk through the city center and be able to photograph these passionate anglers.
