Planted over 120 years ago, this Lagerstroemia indica or Crape Myrtle is one of the most extraordinary trees of the Garden of the 5 senses located on the shores of Lake Leman in Yvoire, Haute Savoie, France. It usually flowers at the beginning of September, but the exceptional heat of August brought forward its flowering by several weeks.
