From a biblical perspective, God is described as sovereign over all creation, meaning nothing happens outside His ultimate authority. It does not mean that God approve evil to happen because God doesn't support evil. The Bible consistently portrays God as holy and good, and therefore not the author of sin or wrongdoing.
But from the bible perspective God allows evil to happen with Him being the cause of the evil. Human free will plays a major role in the existence of evil, as people often choose actions that go against God’s will. In this sense, evil can occur within God’s permissive will, where He allows human decisions to unfold while still maintaining ultimate control over history.
