Hello, Hivers!
Earlier today, together with my family (and my husband's side) we went to Agujo, Daanbantayan, Cebu. We visited the daughter of my husband's late brother. Yes, you read it right, he has a brother who passed away last 2018, and every year we paid a visit to his child.
We left home at 4 am so we can arrive early as 7 am and still bond the child the whole day. Indeed, at past seven, we arrived safe and sound.
We went straight to their house and saw the pretty smile of a young girl. Eventually, we went to the nearby beach after our breakfast. The beach is just a few steps from their house and every time they wanted a dip, they can easily access the sea.
The sun is already up, 8 o'clock is too late for us to plunge into the water. My family didn't mind the striking heat of the sun and immediately immerse in the sea while I decided to take a walk, maybe later I'll join them. I wanted to hike from the place until where my eyes can reach and my feet can take. I used sunscreen for my face to avoid sunburn.
As I started to walk, I fell in love with the three Ss, the sea, sand, and sun! The sea is so inviting! Even if it's low tide but the beauty is still there. The very fine sand seems artificial however it's natural! No wonder tourists keep on coming here for its astonishing sand. The scorching heat of the sun also contributed to the overall beauty of the view.
Near the shoreline has sea rocks where covered with moss. It's the only part right here that has moss.
Sand dunes in the sea have always been so fascinating. I can't imagine how nature made this stunning creation. The intact and promising view made my walk memorable.
The big house along the sea is eye-catching. I owner of this house has been so blessed with its everyday view and bathing in saltwater. It has a peculiar design of riprap, it's like a wave.
Passed by two men constructing a boat. It's bigger than the usual boat I see along the shore. This area has a potential resort coming soon as possible. I saw some ribbons from afar which is why I think something is coming soon.
As I go further, the enhanced and new to my eyes always make me awe. I was not able to ascend due to puppies keep barking at me. So, I just continued walking.
Until I reached the narrow shore of Kandaya beach resort. The fine sand seems so good when I step on it. It nourishes my feet to my whole being.
The healthy and well-cared plants in Kandaya added to the beauty of its environment. Many tourists visit here because it's a five-star resort in the north. Foreign people are attracted to beach houses or resorts and later on, build a home for the future.
When I went back, the dogs are waiting😁 not for me but for the food hehe.
Reflection
Walking along the sea might be helpful for us to unwind, think, and reflect. There are some instances we neglected others' happiness instead we have to consider them. I mean, it's just an unplanned visit because if we're waiting for the occasion to come, might be out of budget so, this would be the right time to consider everyone's joy.
Furthermore, a time for me to unwind. Yes, I need this because it's been a while since I wasn't able to plunge into saltwater. I miss this so much! I must have a hair protector too! Ouch, my hair. Anyway, reflecting on oneself is also our need or soliloquy.
