I would like to visit Mars
I’ve been thinking that of late
If I’d take a trip across the stars
Only fifty pounds I’d be instead
I'd love to lose some weight for once
Even if it’s for that one date
But I won't go to the Moon
Their One Sixth of Earth diet
That’s far too severe for me
I don't want to sail away
Frail, in that stormy lunacy
That ol’ dusty Sea of Tranquility
I won’t to go to Jupiter
With all those pounds to gain
Should I visit that red-eyed storm
My kilograms will stay the same
Send my skinny girlfriend instead
Jupiter pounds won't make her fat
My skinny gal from Europa knows
the kilogram way is the way to go
It's at fifty where the scale tips
no matter where she romps and roams
But, it’s to Mars that I shall fare
with all the pounds I have to bear
Do you know the difference between weight and mass?
