So Masscann was having a family themed farm day last week out at a farm in Swansea MA.
On the way out there I hunted down some eggs of my own.
as I thankfully had been tipped off to some reggae themed brunch action going down in my Grandfather's section of Quincy.
So my grandfather has been the part of Quincy known as Hough's neck. He passed a couple years ago, and so I haven't been over here in a while.
Hough's neck is the section of Quincy, that's like 20 minutes from Quincy.
it is a nice little community though. Very clean and lots of lifers here.
and the popular neighborhood spot Off The HOOK is A Happening little joint for sure
with a huge (s)parking lot, great for meeting up with a dozen or so cannabis enthusiasts until the group reaches an acceptable attendance percentage to justify being seated as per the refervation.
It is a nice little restaurant near the Ocean with great food a full bar,
and now today they will have reggae music playing all morning
The band, Dis and Dat band, who I had seen in my own brother's wedding years ago over at the Sum Ting Nice restaurant over in Summahville, is well nlknown in the area and has been playing locally for many years.
They are a tight and groovy little 3 piece, playing some great jams throughout the morning.
Bass, Drums and a very talented lady playing keyboards and doing vocals.
.... great choice for the gig . Their sound pairs perfectly with Coffee and Nuggs.
Well I eventually got to the Family Day, totally zooted, and guess who was there?
Bill "freaking" Diamond
also the legendary Ed Village was back with his amazing collection of cannabis books.
I really like antique books and they brought two books in particular that I found to be very interesting.
one was the last addition of the Pharmacopeia (1937) which included cannabis prior to its status nefariously being shifted from the most useful plant known to man to it incorrectly being declared an illegal substance with no medicinal benefit and a high probability for user addiction
the other was a book of remedies from the late 1800s. It is a reference guide for homeopathic treatments including the use of cannabis in many instances and for many of it's commonly desribed maladies.
Orange you glad Nathan Andrade was there to help break down everything. great dude and
always there to help pickup after these events always with a hand to the plow.
you may feed or maybe might be fed but don't forget to feed you head.
Having breakfast with friends and participating in the many area cannabis events.. Highly Recommended
