When I woke up around 4:45 am this morning, I looked out the window and saw some pinkish clouds in the east.

Als ich heute morgen gegen 04:45 Uhr aufgewacht bin, habe ich aus dem Fenster geschaut und im Osten leicht rosa leuchtende Wolken gesehen.

This could be a nice sunrise at the water, I thought to myself and drove off a short time later towards the reservoir.

But the closer I got to the lake, the thicker the fog in the east has become, through which one could only see a slight pink glow then.

Das könnte ein schöner Sonnenaufgang am Wasser werden, dachte ich mir und fuhr kurze Zeit später in Richtung Stausee los.

Doch je näher ich an den See kam, desto dichter wurde der Nebel im Osten, durch den man nur noch einen leichten rosa Schein erkennen konnte.

After sunrise photos were not really possible, I photographed some swans and the area for a while. If some of these photos have turned out well, I will post them in the next few days.

Nachdem Sonnenaufgangsfotos hier also nicht wirklich möglich waren, habe ich noch eine Weile Schwäne und die Gegend fotografiert. Falls einige dieser Fotos gut geworden sind, werde ich sie in den nächsten Tagen posten.

Only a few minutes away by car in the Rosental valley, I drove directly past this tree, which stood on the grassy hill directly in front of the sky, and of course still stands there ;) There was no fog at all here.

Nur ein paar Autominuten entfernt im Rosental bin ich dann direkt an diesem Baum vorbeigefahren, der auf dem Grashügel direkt vor dem Himmel gestanden ist, und natürlich noch immer dort steht ;) Hier war weit und breit kein Nebel mehr zu sehen gewesen.
