Upvote = Negative Curation? - Question For the Community

I have a question though that I can't seem to find an answer to.

I was hoping to upvote a post I found, and the curation reward is -$1.96?

What would cause such a huge negative curation from an upvote?

Regular content will resume in a day or two. This weekend has been extremely hectic for me, I wil provide updates soon.

Looks like I won't be able to do the Hive account@freewritehouse March madness every day, my time is in such short supply - especially this weekend.

I hope to have chapter 2 up hopefully in a day or two.
