Good day friends, Today I have decided to talk about this topic,
I was one the members of the drug free club during my NYSC and we were taught alot about drugs and how people abuse the legal and illegal drugs also how people get addicted to drugs. Drug abuse means usage of legal or illegal drugs to satisfy urge. Alot of people abuse over the counter drugs such as pain killers and so on. I will not mention any brand here in my write up. Both the Young and adult can abuse drugs. Some people abuse Drug Syrups and drink it like water just to satisfy themselves, there are some people who add this syrups to their drinks.
Drug addiction means taking of drugs and not been able to stop. People get addicted to alot of drugs, having the urge to use those drugs, without using the drugs , they will feel uncomfortable. Their body system have been used to these drugs and they can't do without it. Those who give their children drug everytime when they young, this could make them to have the urge to taking all there drugs when they are old, there are some people who treating one disease or the other, doctors prescribed drugs for them and they have used these drugs for a long time,most times they find it difficult to stop the usage of the drugs because they are addicted to it. Some people can be addicted to alcohol and they feel so empty when they don't have access to acohol.
There are some who feel happy and see it as pleasure in taking drugs, whether legal or illegal, they believe they are able to do alot of things they can't do before, some believe they can talk to anybody when they are on drugs. Some believe they can achieve alot of task which requires energy or strength.
There is no justification for drug abuse or being addicted to any form of drugs. Some people are in the psychiatrists hospital because of drug abuse and addiction, there are some who are dead due to ceisure and other complications, some people have lost their marriages and relationships due to drug abuse, a man who is on drugs can sexually abuse and assualt his wife.

In conclusion, those who abuse drugs or are addicted should seek help because it's very important to visit a hospital and also be assisted by family and friends. Some have committed suicide or commit murder under the influence of drugs.
