So who is the gorgeous black beast who graces my profile pic?
She is my gaurdian dog Ishta!
She was meant to be trained up into a service dog for me and she is fantastic at being my medical aid especially at night but unfortunately, she hates people...unless your me in which case she tries to meld with me to make us one! 😂
We rescued her from the pound at 16 weeks old when she was nothing but a horrible looking fluff ball with matted fur and sad eyes. Since I carried her out of that place she has hated to leave my side.
We were told she was the "ugly" runt of the litter, the others were blue and blonde, and one of the three that were found alive in a dumpster. The 4 boys had all been killed before they added the girls to the same box and dumped them. Her sisters had been adopted already but due to her appearance they weren't sure if she would be! ðŸ˜
Sooo Ugly!
She is the most loyal dog I have ever had and I can honestly say I would be dead if it wasn't for her! Plus she is just the happiest dog most of the time just jumping and yumping around the yard chasing birds, crickets, rabbits, kangaroo and sometimes we think her own shadow!
