Steemit Family Philippines - Creating a group of minnows

Blog #2 - A growing community of Filipino Steemians.

It has been 3 days since I created the group on Facebook and it has been a successful run so far. Our first target goal of new members to sign up on steemit was reached within 2 days (Target = 20 members). We now have 24 approved new members and 6 members waiting for approval. Next target by next week Sunday is 50 members.

The optimism is still in the air. My group might not see the future goal that I set for the group but I clearly see it. Being one of the pioneers here in the Philippines isn't an easy thing to do. People still doubt it but I don't. I believe in this site and the possibilities of it growing to a much much bigger community.

To my fellow Hive account@steemitfamilyph, don't lose hope if your first post isn't garnering much upvotes or comments. Just keep in mind that we are at the start of great race. Keep posting, upvoting, commenting and surely other steemians will follow back and see that your putting effort into your post. We're only a few now but we will increase in number. Don't think about the money, think about what you could do for the community. Think about what you can share to everyone. Maybe it photography, your life lessons, jokes and other.
