To day i decided to leave the Ugandan community and move to promote steemit to some south sudanese guys. I approached them and started explaining them more about steemit. I did explain how steemit works and got surprised when i had just told them that joining steemit is free. One of them decided to join steemit on ground and others took my phone number since they didn't have internet connection. They actually not believed until i helped one of them to sign up and explaining the overall process and some literature from steemit.
I gave my self a challenge of signing up a person before 10 am and it did happen.
Here is the process how i have been directing him to join steemit and at least i had an occasion to talk with him and how i did join steemit two month back.
Steemit is now my DNA. A real promo guy.
I opened the steemit page and we started the registration process.
- I asked him to provide his username. He wanted phillip as his username but couldn't work and chose to add on some numbers to be
- The following process was to provide his email address and he was able to do so.
- The third process was to provide his phone number but didn't know the reason. So, i had to explain him the reason and telling him that they will send a confirmation code to the phone.
then entered the confirmation code that was sent to the phone and was excited to join steemit and make some steem out of it.
- The very last one was to wait for the approval.
expected the approval to be direct but i had to clarify telling him that the approval can take some hours. He understood and all impatient to get hi approval from steemit.
The major aim of these steem-promos is to attract more guys from east -Africa and Africa in general to join steemit. I did get a privilege of knowing steemit and will always try my level best to reach to others and help them sign up and start earning on steemit.
