In this post, I have just a few more cats to share.
One that, along with a few other pieces, have helped me gain popularity on Facebook and among my peers in the industry.
A lifesize mountain lion:
This piece was 6ft long and 3.5ft tall and carved out of one piece of white pine. The picture was shared so many times it got lost so to speak. Pages were using it to farm likes without giving me as the artist credit. Luckily my industry is like a tight knit community where my peers recognize my work and call out the plagiarists. I try to do the same when I see it happen with other artist's work. It happens all too often.
Another cat I've done is this white tiger deep relief in white cedar:
Not too complicated and definitely not as popular as the mountain lion ready to pounce. But still worthy of a share.
And lastly, another tiger:
This one shows the watermark I use for my Facebook page. Funny though now that I use it, my work gets shared less on the platform. One of the reasons why I'm now on Steemit. I enjoy it here immensely by the way.
I hope I'm entertaining my followers here with my work. I have much more to share, new and old.
If you enjoy seeing what I "saw" feel free to upvote and resteem.
Thanks for looking!
